I really do love Walmart grocery pick up. They are NOT sponsoring this, they have no clue who I am, I just love how it saves me time and money.

I started using it OVER two years ago when I was pregnant with Jesse and it’s really been a life saver.

Use the app!

There is a desktop version, which is also good. But if you use the app you can walk around your house and see what you need without making a paper list.

Allow substitutions

Sometimes Walmart doesn’t have the exact item you want, but you can get upgraded to a better item at no extra charge to you. For example, I ordered peanut butter, they didn’t have the size I needed, so they upgraded me to a larger jar at the same price.

Import your lists

If your family is like mine and you buy a lot of the same things every week. You can actually go into the app and find your old list click “add to my cart” and just delete the things you don’t need.

Say no to plastic

If you’re troubled by the number of plastic bags they bring you I have a solution. I actually spoke to the grocery pick up manager at my store and he said you can actually ask them for no plastic bags in the notes function of the app. Or simply hand the bags back to the attendants and they will reuse them.

Bring a cooler bag

I like to load all my groceries into a cooler bag or laundry basket and I load everything into it and then all I have to do is carry one thing inside with me when I get home.

Check in on the app

You can check in before you leave your office or house or wherever you are and it will notify them when you arrive. And they will just bring things out to your car without you having to call the number at the store.

I really do feel like do feel like it saves me money. I can total up what I am buying before I hit purchase. Also there isn’t temptation to buy things I don’t need.
