Are you looking to save the MOST money when you shop? Me too. Today I am launching a brand new series where I take you into stores and teach you how to save.

Today we’re talking Target. Target has developed a reputation for being pricy for a big box relater. However, Target has a TON of ways to save money.

The app.

Most store apps are pretty similar. You can search the app for the weekly ad. Add coupons and make a list.

Coupons

Coupon will take one manufacturer and one store coupon on the same item and you can find many of those in the app.

Target will price match

If you find an identical item at a competitor’s store, they will match that. They also match at Amazon.com. The product has to be EXACTLY the same.

14-day price adjustment:

If you purchase something at Target and the price drops within 14 days (excluding Holiday clearance) you can get a price adjustment at customer service.

Cat and Jack

Cat and Jack kids clothes have a one year guarantee. If they tear up you can bring them back within one year to the date of purchase- WITH A RECEIPT.

RedCard

You can save 5% off each purchase with the Target RedCard debit card. This card links directly to your bank account and you automatically save with each purchase. And they often have bonus offers.

Sales sticker:

Look at the top of the Yellow sales sticker. If it says 30/50 0r 70 that’s the percentage off. And if the number ends with a .04 it’s probably not going any lower.

Seasonal sales:

Seasonal items go on sale 50%  the day after a holiday (30% off candy). The weeks following that holiday (Easter, Christmas, Halloween) those items will continue to drop all the way down to 90%!

Rain check

This isn’t offered at every store but it is offered at mine. If an item feature in the weekly ad as on sale is out of stock you can get a rain check from customer service so that you can come back later and buy that item at the sale price.
