How to get a free Thanksgiving dinner from Walmart

Right now Walmart and Ibotta are offering a Thanksgiving dinner FREE after rebate. Supplies are limited and it might not be available in your area, but if it is I wanted to share the details of how it works. And no, none of this is sponsored.

How does it work?

First, you will need the Ibotta app. If you don’t know what Ibotta is, it is an app that allows you to earn cashback on certain grocery store purchases. And if you link it with your Walmart grocery pick-up app you automatically get $1 off each time you buy groceries.

Next, you will click on the button that says FREE Thanksgiving Dinner to get 100% cashback on certain items.

What’s included?

Great Value Flavored stuffing Mix (6 ounce box)

Great Value 14 ounce can cranberry sauce

French’s Original Crispy Fried Onions, 2.8 ounce box

Idahoan Mashed Potatoes, any variety, 8 oz

Butter Ball Turkey Roast, 3 lbs or whole turkey

McCormick Gravy Packet, 0.87 or .88 oz pouch

Simply add these things to your Walmart grocery app, or purchase in the store. Then you will upload your receipt to Ibotta and receive a rebate on these items.
