Calm the mom essential oil roller ball

IMG_1603.jpg

Let's just be real, there is some stress associated with being a mom. Okay, maybe it's just me. I had some super stressful jobs before I had babies. I worked in a newsroom with a police scanner on my desk. It was loud and frantic and I loved it, but it was stressful.

But that did not hold a candle to the stress I sometimes feel as a mom. Sometimes when one child is screaming and the baby is crying and another one is asking me a question and the house is a mess and the chicken I cooked for dinner is burning... it gets stressful. In those moments I don't feel my best as a mama and sometimes I lose my cool. And then I feel worse.

There are a lot of things I do in these moments, I pray, I breathe and I use a special rollerball blend I call "calm the mom."

It's a really easy blend to put together, it smells amazing and it works well in a diffused (minus the carrier oil).

What you'll need:

Note: I am using YoungLiving oils. I am not oil loyal, but YoungLiving is my favorite- I find them to be a better quality and I don't have to use as much.

10 ml rollerball

carrier oil (coconut, camilla seed, etc)

5 drops lavender

5 drops Stress Away

5 drops Peace and Calm

Shake the roller ball to blend and you're good to go. I use it on my wrists and the back of my neck.

NOTE: I made a video talking about the blend, but it doesn't start until Around minute 6!
