Our favorite Christmas books for toddlers and preschoolers

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is getting out our Christmas books. We love to read two or three throughout the day and of course before bed.

Today I thought I would share a few of our favorite Christmas books geared toward preschool and toddlers.

Gingerbread Baby. A sweet and beautifully illustrated adventure of a gingerbread baby come to life. All of Jan Brett's books are beautiful.

Three Snow Bears also by Jan Brett is a telling of Goldie Locks. Only set in the Alaskan wild.

We love all the Little Blue Truck books by Alice Schertle and the Christmas one is adorable. Help Little Blue as he delivers trees to his animal friends.

There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell by Jared Lee. All of these books are funny and this one is no exception.

Christmas in the Manger is perfect for little hands and little attention spans. This is a quick book that helps little ones understand the Christmas story.

Who doesn't love the Berenstain Bears?? And in the Joy of Giving they talk about why it is better to give than to received. This is great for older preschoolers.

I was so sad when I read that Anna Dewdney had died. My toddlers loved her. Llama llama Jingle Bells is all about the three R- rhyming, rhythm and repetition. My 3-year-old loves them.

If you like your stories with a side of sass you will love The Gingerbread Girl. She tricks a fox and does it with style.
