Overcome your overwhelm project #8: Time to do those floors

Good morning! Who is ready to overcome that overwhelm? For a recap on why I started this challenge head here.

Ready to conquer your clutter with me (boy do I need the accountability!!)? Ready to rock your time and manage your checkbook? Okay. Let's go.

Cleaning challenge:

Let's deep clean those floors today. Not all the floors. Instead, focus on the zones that see the most traffic. I am going to be focusing on my kitchen, living room and hallway. That means moving furniture to vacuum underneath. I will also be breaking out my steam mop. I think if I get the floors good and clean I will want to keep them that way. If I invest this time now, I can spend less time each day just sweaping or doing a quick vacuum.

Money challenge:

Lower your bills. What??? I know. I sound crazy. But trust me. You can do it. My husband and I were able to save $600 a year just by asking our cellphone company and internet provider for discounts.

Call one company you have done business with long-term and see what they can offer you. Maybe it's your insurance provider, or your cable company. It never hurts to ask.

Time challenge:

Pick a planner. Maybe you're struggling with time because you're using the wrong planner, or you're not using one to begin with.

I started using a paper planner this year to organize my time and it's made a HUGE difference. But I also married it with my phone to better function. I explain all of it in the video below.

If you do any of these things I want to know. Snap a photo and use #overcomeyouroverwhelm.

I will be on Facebook and Instagram sharing my progress.
