My favorite budget-friendly DIY projects (so far)
/I really never thought of myself as a DIYer or a person who loved doing "crafts" but I have to say, I was wrong.
I actually find DIY projects fulfilling, something about working with my hands is both peaceful and calming. Plus I can decorate my home on a budget.
I found a slew of old drawers thrown out by the side of the road. I loaded them all up in the back of my car. This one I used to make a little side table to stack my books.
I made this clothes line frame before Christmas. It cost me less than $5 to put together compared to the $25 one I saw at Michael's. when my sister saw it she requested I make her one for Christmas.
These Mason Jar Tumblers are SO easy to make. I see similar items for sale at the store for $5. That's insane, you can make these for under a $1!
You may remember from a couple weeks ago that I redid this vintage desk for under $20. It turned out so well and I love it.
This is one of my favorite DIYs! I made this for under $4 in less than 10 minutes using an old pallet and some drawer pulls. The pallet was free and the drawer pulls were less than $1 each. It hangs in my son's room and holds hats, jackets and bags.
Enjoy a spa day at home, or give one to a friend with these simple DIY ideas. This includes gel soaps, nourishing face scrub and wax melts.
This tomato cage topiary was one of my favorite DIYs ever. It was so simple to make and I used things I already had. It really helped dress up our front porch for Christmas.

My children made these sweet handprint tiles for my mother-in-laws birthday last year. They turned out to be both useful and a cherished keepsake.
And they cost very little to make.
